Rei Dan is a Japanese actress and television personality (mostly commercials, etc.). Her stage name is derived from the fact that the kanji character; can be read as either Mayumi or Dan. On July 27, 2011, she married actor Oikawa Mitsuhiro. The couple first met each other when they co-stared in TV Asashi's drama "Aibou Season8 New Year's day special" which started filming back in November of 2009. Oikawa and Dan began dating shortly thereafter and decided to get married after dating for around a year.
