Jang Ki Yong, born in Ulsan, is a South Korean actor and model managed by YGKplus. He graduated from Seokyeong University, majoring in model acting. He began his career as a South Korean model in 2012 during Seoul Fashion Week. In 2012, Jang was selected as one of twelve promising rookie models by the Korea Model Association during his debut year. Jang won the Fashion Model Award at the 2014 Asian Model Awards ceremony and the same year he debuted as an actor through the 2014 SBS series, It's Okay That's Love. In 2017, he was nominated as Best New Actor at the 31st KBS Drama Awards and in 2018's MBC Drama Awards won the Excellence Award for Actor in a Wednesday-Thursday Drama. Jang enlisted for his mandatory military service on August 23, 2021 and is reported to be discharged on 22 February, 2023.
