Witwisit Hiranyawongkul, nicknamed "Phit", also written "Pitch" or "Pchy", is a Thai actor, musician, and producer born and raised in Chiang Mai, Thailand. Phit attended Montfort College, a prestigious school in Chiang Mai, and in 2011 graduated from the Faculty of Journalism and Mass Communications with a degree in Film and Photography from Thammasat University. He entered the Thai entertainment business at the age of 17 while he was still in grade 12. He was discovered in his hometown by Chukiat Sakweerakul, writer and director of 'The Love of Siam'. Chukiat himself was an alumnus of Montfort College and met Pitch because of their common musical interests. As a talented singer, Phit was the lead singer in his high school band, playing the piano and composes music in his free time. In 2008, Witwisit launched a band called August, a boy band which was made for the film "The Love of Siam". Since they found themselves comfortable with each other, they decided to pursue it into the Thai Entertainment Industry and which began by singing and playing in The Love of Siam's promotional events. The 13-member band (including Pchy) released their first album August*Thanx in February 2008. Their first full album Radiodrome was released in December 2008. On 10 January, Pchy recorded "Miss", the interlude in the film Love on That Day. Pchy's first public work was singing the original soundtrack song for the movie 'Khao Niew Moo Ping'. For "The Love of Siam" soundtrack, he also contributed several songs. He also sang the OST of Chukiat Sakweerakul's "Dew the Movie". (Source: Wikipedia)
